Damn you Bake Off! shakes fist in anger

Today, after more than 20 years together, I discovered that @manyhues didn’t know the correct lyrics to “Where’s Me Jumper” by the Sultans of Ping FC. I’m not sure what I can trust in anymore.

I’ve still not got used to the combination of nervousness, tension, and hope that comes with Mayo playing in the All-Ireland football final, even though this is the 11th time I’ve gone through this. It’s the hope that’s the hardest part. #mayoforsam

Two indications of how awkward it is debugging failing tests today… 1) I’ve just put 30ish “puts” statements into the code to tell me what is happening, and 2) The latest commit message to my local branch is just “Ooops”.

Iceland using the Jaja ding dong man for their #Eurovision results. Kudos 👏

In #Eurovision voting I’ve gone for Iceland, Ukraine, Portugal, Switzerland, and France, in that order. I’m not ashamed 😃

I always admire the French sticking to their approach to #Eurovision. They don’t care for our opinion, they’ll just do their own thing.

I love the Iceland #Eurovision entry more every time I hear it.

Charles Grodin in Midnight Run gave one of the great comedy acting performances. I re-watched it last year, and it’s practically perfect.

I hate to break it to any JS people out there, but I’ve successfully written an app using React, so it’s time has probably come. Might be best to move on to something else now that I’ve ruined it for everyone.

Went for my lunchtime walk and didn’t see a single cat. What’s the point of that?
