Woo-hoo, my perceived W3C validator bug is real. I say woo-hoo as it means I’m not going mad, not woo-hoo there is a bug.

Does the W3C HTML validator do something which would cause it to give me different results for the same page at different times of the day?

I just used the Oxford comma in a comment in my code. @mnehughes will be happy

GD successfully compiled and up and running. All I can say regarding the speed increase for my GD enabled script on this new MacBook is wow!
