I found this book fascinating when I first read it a number of years ago and I’ve decided to read it again. Once it again it is engrossing. Speer led an interesting life, obviously, and the mixture of the narrative history, the interviews with him, and the many excerpts from his letters written in Spandau is wonderfully interesting.
